Missing the 50s styles, the full skirts, and the pinched waists: A Costarellos story

As much as I love being a modern girl who enjoys sportswear and active wear, I am no longer impressed by the 'once upon a time interesting look' of squared cut, loose fitting boyish designs. I love to see lots of fabrics used on my dresses and I want to look like I am a girl who loves being a girl.

I know that as women we broke so many barriers and we are studying and working alongside men but why do we have to dress like men and be in bland colors in business? When I was in New York I was surprised when business women on wall street told me that we cannot wear jewelry or outfits that are too colorful or are too feminine because no one takes us seriously. I think we should rebel and if we enjoy feminine clothing we should wear them to work and not dress as men do to be treated as seriously as men are.
